Hey everyone!
Horror at Yishusu Landing has finished printing and we are working out logistics to get the books to the USA. Based on this, you should have the book in your hands by end of July / early August! I'll keep you posted as more updates come along.
We also have some great news!
Our new trilogy of books is launching in a couple of weeks on Gamefound (https://gamefound.com/en/projects/deimos-infinitum-publishing/dragons?ref=homepage-spotlight-crowdfunding-draft-published_6#/section/project-story)! Here is a breakdown of what to expect:
Dragons! Dragons! Dragons! is a high-fantasy trilogy of terror, treasure, and terrifying ideas -- everything you need to bring dragons to life at your table like never before. This project includes three beautifully illustrated hardcover books (all art created by humans!):

Update on tariffs, dates, and fulfillment
11 months ago

Hey everyone, Vase here.
It seems the U.S. and China have reached an agreement on tariffs, and although it is far more reasonable than the initial tariff regime, it is still a 30% increase on what we initially anticipated. It is a manageable amount and we still expect the books to arrive by end of Summer 2025, but the increased costs are something we must overcome.
I have a plan to tighten the gap between our initial expenses and the new unexpected tariffs, but it involves running another sale of the digital version of the book (PDF). The price will not be lower than what backers paid, but it will drive some much-needed funds to help navigate the final few months of the fulfillment process of the Kickstarter campaign.
I am happy to report that we will still make good on all of our promises, and despite some setbacks (family health issues, tariffs, etc) we will be delivering all rewards to all pledge levels within the next few months.
We also plan to begin word-of-mouth marketing for a new project! My brother Gio and I are working on a really cool bestiary that includes some very unique and fun dragons, with professional human-made art for every single one. The book is called Dragons! Dragons! Dragons! and contains 100 really cool dragons for 5e! These are not 25 baby, young, adult, ancient statblocks with slight variances. These are 100 unique dragons, rules for creating awesome items from the dragon parts, and a ton of one-shot adventures each including some of the dragons featured in the book. I can't wait to share more with you. In the meantime, if you're interested in learning more or helping playtest some of the dragons (doing one-shot combats against some of them), you can join the discord here (backers are the first to know about this project and have an opportunity to playtest with us): https://discord.gg/wC6uMrBZvy
These have been a tough couple of months, and I am happy to have the support from you all. I'm confident the book sale and new project will raise enough to have a smooth fulfillment, and also cover the costs of the new project. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected]
Thanks everyone.

Project update, tariffs, etc.

Hey everyone, Vase here.
It's been a couple of weeks since the last update—thank you for your patience. I’ve been holding off until I had more concrete information to share regarding the project, tariffs, and any possible delays.
The good news:
At this point, we’re not anticipating any delays. Physical rewards are still on track for late summer delivery. Even more exciting—I just received my sample copy of the book, and it looks incredible! I can’t wait to get it into your hands.
I'm currently working on finding another printer for the magic, monster, and NPC decks since we have not yet paid a deposit to the printer for those. If we can get it done locally or in a trade-friendly nation for a good price then we can avoid potential import issues.
The not-so-good news:
Tariffs are still a potential concern. Things are shifting daily, and since our printer is based in China, there’s a real possibility that escalating trade tensions could affect this print run.
While the U.S. has relaxed tariffs with several countries, China remains a sticking point, which is leading to more aggressive tariff policies on shipments coming from there. This won’t impact your costs as backers—but it could cause delays if we run into issues at customs.
One potential complication is classification: if customs decides to categorize the book as a "game" instead of a "book," it would result in a significant increase in import fees. In that case, we’d need to find a way to cover those unexpected costs in order to get the books released. If we can’t, we might have to get creative to find a workaround. Honestly, I’m not sure what that would look like yet.
I'm still hopeful everything will go smoothly, but I wanted to be as transparent as possible about the situation. I’ll keep you updated as things develop!
